Abstract

The background of this study is the binaural interference and the purpose is to describe, by a systematic review of the literature, the phenomenon known as binaural interference. A systematic review of the literature was carried out in electronic databases LILACS, MEDLINE, PUBMED and SCIELO. The binaural interference is a phenomenon reported in the literature which needs to be investigated. This phenomenon can be confirmed by specifics auditory processing tests, the most reported in the literature was the dichotic digit test.
